Story Synopsis

A married Lagos man secretly goes on a first date with a young woman he met on Snapchat, hoping for a fun and romantic evening. Instead, the date quickly turns into an awkward interrogation as the woman uses ChatGPT to generate questions and follow-ups based on his answers.

Things get worse when she grabs his phone and starts scrolling through it before boldly declaring that, if they are going to be together, she must be the only woman in his life apart from his family. She then demands that he return home to bring her the gifts he promised.

Realizing that the situation is getting out of control, the man makes a dramatic escape, leaving her with the expensive restaurant bill. He ignores her nonstop calls and heads straight home, where the audience discovers the hilarious truth—he has a wife waiting for him.

The experience leaves him with one unforgettable conclusion: cheating in Lagos is simply too expensive.
