In a peaceful Nigerian village, Emeka, a hardworking and generous farmer, enjoys a successful harvest and earns the respect of his community. But his prosperity awakens deep jealousy in his neighbor, Chike, who secretly blames Emeka for his own failures.

Consumed by envy, Chike sneaks into Emeka’s farm one night and plants destructive weeds among his crops, hoping to ruin his harvest. Emeka discovers the strange plants but refuses to accuse anyone, choosing instead to remain patient and continue working.

Soon, a violent storm spreads the weeds throughout the area. To Chike’s horror, the plants invade his own neglected farm and destroy his entire harvest. The wickedness he intended for another becomes his own downfall.

Instead of taking revenge, Emeka shows Chike compassion by giving him food and seeds to start again. Ashamed of his actions, Chike realizes that what a person plants is ultimately what they will harvest.

Moral: Never plant evil in another person's life, because the seeds of wickedness can eventually grow in your own backyard.
