CONTENT UPLOAD AND MONETIZATION POLICY

4.1 Accepted Content

African Story MovieBox is intended to support original and authorized audiovisual productions.

Depending on platform requirements, accepted content may include:

African movies.

Drama films.

Animated movies.

Film series and episodes.

Short films.

Documentaries.

Educational audiovisual productions.

Other approved entertainment content.

All uploads remain subject to technical, legal, and monetization requirements.

4.2 Originality and Authorization

Creators must upload only content they own or are legally authorized to distribute.

The following activities are prohibited without the necessary rights:

Reuploading another filmmaker’s movie.

Uploading films downloaded from YouTube or other platforms.

Uploading copyrighted music videos without authorization.

Using another studio’s film artwork without permission.

Reposting television programmes without distribution rights.

Uploading pirated or unlawfully obtained content.

Public availability on another website does not mean a video is free to redistribute.

4.3 Required Information

Creators may be required to provide:

Film title.

Synopsis.

Genre.

Release year.

Language.

Production company.

Cast and crew information.

Thumbnail or poster.

Content ownership declaration.

Relevant licensing or authorization documents.

Accurate information helps users discover content and helps the platform verify ownership.

4.4 Free Previews

Selected premium movies may be made available through a free preview of up to 60 seconds.

The preview is intended to help viewers decide whether to purchase or subscribe for access.

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, creators do not receive a separate payment for the free preview itself.

The applicable monetization arrangement governs revenue generated from eligible paid viewing and other qualifying revenue sources.

4.5 Monetization Eligibility

Content may be excluded from monetization if it:

Violates copyright or other intellectual property rights.

Contains unlawful material.

Uses misleading metadata.

Generates artificial views.

Has unresolved ownership disputes.

Violates the platform’s content standards.

Is otherwise ineligible under the applicable monetization programme.

A video being available on the website does not automatically mean every view qualifies for creator earnings.

4.6 Content Moderation

African Story MovieBox may use manual review, automated tools, user reports, and other reasonable methods to identify content that violates its rules.

We may restrict visibility or monetization while investigating a credible complaint.

4.7 Creator Responsibility

The uploader remains responsible for the accuracy, legality, and authorization of uploaded content.

African Story MovieBox provides a distribution and streaming service but does not independently guarantee that every statement made by a creator is accurate.
